VEROLJUB NAUMOVIĆ
Veroljub Naumović (b.1990, Novi Sad, RS) explores the ways in which art creates experience and the ways those experiences affect their subjects. Currently this is aimed at the relationship of humans with their bodies. The work he creates is of accentuated formality, striving to apply the human form in ways which are neither semiotic nor rethoric. The meaning of Naumović’s art is left to the beholder, suspended somewhere between extremes, between hyperrealism and minimalism, softness and hardness, attraction and disgust, ontology and aesthetics, the viewer and the viewed. His interest is the experience of viewing and creating art, more than presenting any specific ideas.
